Well it looks like we are finally going to graduate from the student life to the post doc life. Not much difference for those who are unfamiliar! However Jared will officially be Dr. Jared Trefethen and we are excited! Looks like we will be headed to Kansas. Jared has accepted a position in a lab at KU in Lawrence. We just went to visit a few weeks ago and I think it will be a great little pit stop for the next one to two years. Who would've guessed Kansas???

Congratulations! It can be nice to have a little change of scenery. Let us know when you get there. We sometimes drive through Kansas on our way back west. Maybe we can stop by sometime.
I guess you won't be bugging your parents to move to Texas anymore-ha, ha! I bet you are so proud of Jared--tell him congratulations! I had forgotten about Sandra's cone boobs---thanks that gave me a good laugh!!!!!
That is great! What a fun adventure! How far is that from Logan? I'm going to mapquest it....okay, I guess I'm not that good at geography, it's 16 hours away (I was thinking like maybe 8). Still, it's do-able. =)
Wow!! Doctor Jared. I bet he makes you call him Doctor at home (haha). Well, just so ya know...Jason's brother, Scott and his wife (mandy) are moving to Missouri. Infact, Mandy already left with the kids and are staying with family until scott can find a job in Missouri and then he will move out too. Mandy already accepted a job at a Public Montessori school. Anyway, to make a long story short...they will live less than an hour away from you. So, when we go and visit them in Missouri then we will be coming to visit you too. That is pretty cool!! Maybe we will actually beable to see you!! Congratulations!!

Wow! How exciting~ Tell your hubby congratulations. What hard work you have both had to deal with. Let's do Disneyland sometime this fall. Will you be there at some point? We were going to do the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon at the end of this month but I have started the process of IVF, so its a no-go. Maybe next year, right?

Hi Emily! It's Ranell from Indiana! I found your blog from Laura's and I've been looking around. It's so fun to meet up with old friends in blogosphere. We have a blog, too, if you want to take a look. Congrats on a 'Dr. husband' and being done with school. I can't imagine being in school with kids -- way to go! Cute kids, too. You look great -- the same as I remember you. We're in Oregon, so it's not close to Kansas, but have fun there and keep in touch!
